Family, I am in the airport in Miami, Florida.  It is 10:00 am and my "next" flight is not until 3:30 pm.  That one takes me to Aruba where I have another 5 hour layover before, God willing and with the blessings of the Ancestors, I arrive in South America for research and visits and lectures and historic meetings.  So this is what is called a long day of travel.  But new adventures await me and the people are in anticipation.  So I must summon the right attitude.  I must not appear ungrateful to my hosts who have put much work into my program.  So I am tired and a bit frustrated at the hassles of international travel but I must be gracious and show a good face.  That is the least that I can do and trust that once that I arrive and get into the groove that all of the preliminaries will be worth it!  Have a blessed day!  Much love sisters and brothers!
