Well Family, I am back in my hotel room.   I was only able to do two museums today but they were big ones.  For the first time I visited the Royal Museum of Central Kmt.  This museum opened more than century ago and is a monument to Belgian colonization of the Congo.  I felt that the ghost of the ruthless Belgian king Leopold II was present everywhere.  And thanks to sister Jennifer Tosch I was able to meet with museum official Dr. Bambi Ceuppens.  She is by far the most knowledgeable and articulate person on the history of the Congo I have ever met.  She was just a walking encyclopedia and shared much wisdom.  My second museum visit was to the Royal Museum of Art and History--an excellent all-around museum on Kmt, ancient Greece and Rome, ancient America, eureurasia, etc.  I walked until my feet rebelled and my camera said enough!  I have learned so much these last three days in Belgium and Luxembourg and just wish I had the time and money to see more!  Sisters and brothers I hope that on this day you have been blessed as much as I have been!
