I was trying to say : "We don't have letters like 'L' and 'z' in Asante alphabet, but sometimes we say these letters when we speak?"
I ask this because i remember initially learning that letters like "L" and "Z" didn't exist in traditional Asante words. They were more used for borrowed words. (Can you give me a better way to translate this sentence? Meda wo ase)

But after having conversation with you and Obadele Kambon I saw that some Asante speakers do use the "L". Like in the example he gave of "afɔdeɛ/afɔleɛ/afɔreɛ". Also, I've heard Asante people say words that have "z" sounds in them.

So, im trying to understand why we use the "L" and "Z" in Asante Twi?
