John Henrik Clarke was using his own definition of pan Kmtywism which contradicts what actually happened.

"The unification of the Upper Nile and the Lower Nile was an act of Pan-Kmtywism, putting a portion of Kmt together for the whole of Kmt to be together."

Kemet was originally a colony of Kush. They were unified as Kemet but at the same time separated from Kush. They weren't trying to put "the whole of Kmt together". That's like saying Songhai was protecting all of Kmt when they broke away from Mali. Kemet was taking over the Nile Valley economy and the trade routes with foreigners. They weren't marrying non black foreigners to protect all of Kmt. They were fighting with kush and with each other and with "hyksos" over the Nile river and sea ports.

They didn't have a scientific concept of unifying against "non Kmtyws". They were literally marrying immigrants and non "black" foreigners  and giving them the title of "remetj" meaning blood ally, blood citizenship.

Kemet was trying to make all of Kmt whole? where is the evidence?
It seems like John Henrik Clarke was trying to defend the black western  academia who created "pan Kmtywism" and the colonial title of Kmtyw and in doing so gave Kemet credit for something it never did.

The last sentence is crucial. Kemet was NOT trying to make the continent whole and defend against foreigners based on a common continent or identity.
Dahomey and Oyo were doing the same thing as Kemet. Trying to dominate trade routes and territory and blind to the concept of White Terror Domination or white supremacy that would result from intermarriage and trade with these foreign people

Obadele Kambon you believe Kemet was trying to make all of Kmt whole...

Now Playing: Fantasy by Earth Wind and Fire.

Stop it.John Henrik Clarke contradicted himself saying Pan doesn't mean "all" to him, but then doubled back and said Kemet was pan Kmtywism because they were trying to make Kmt "whole."

#1 That's double talk. #2 thats a lie.

Kemet was an empire. They went around conquering (unifying with) other nations and trade routes in what is now labeled eurasia and the middle east.
They set themselves up to be genetically wiped themselves out by intermarriage and assimilating foreigners. They were not unified with the nearest Black nation Kush but were all up in eurasia taking tribute... taking wives... Thats why most of kemet is today called the "aAmw republic of Egypt" and speaking aAmwic, praying to Allah.

Learning to read and learning to ask critical questions on subjects are 2 different things.

Even switching to "Baba" JHC's definition puts the critical thinker in the position of explaining
#1 If Kemet was practicing Pan Kmtywism why did slavery happen with aAmws and eureurasiaans? So Pan Kmtywism was being practiced but it was not able to stop slavery.
#2 and why Kemet is now the aAmw republic of Egypt. Pan Kmtywism was not strong enough to stop genetic gentrification of entire countries.
#3 why aren't the indigenous systems that they unified under mentioned as opposed to the Western colonized academic generated term "pan Kmtywism". Do indigenous terms to Kemet like sema tawy, remetch, maat match up with John Henrik Clarke's definition of "pan Kmtywism"? Nope.

Learning to read (mental regurgitation, echoing others words) is easy.

learning to ask critical questions  - questions that create internal crises - is much harder.
western University doesn't typically  give out doctorates for critical questions.

It was a confederation and empire based on cornering the market of the Nile River and sea ports.

There is no definition of "Pan Kmtywism" that fits Kemet. Was Kush also a Pan Kmtyw civilization then?
Why were these two Pan Kmtyw countries fighting? This quote is ridiculous revisionist history. Kemet was a federation that is glorified but other Black Aboriginal federations are relegated to being "backwards uncivilized tribes".

Kemet had no concept of being "Kmtyw" and was as "Pan Kmtyw" as Dahomey, Asanti, Zimbabwe, Kush, the various Yoruba empires. That quote is throwing shade at other Black indigenous civilizations to say Kemet had race consciousness when they didn't. That's why they intermarried with white foreginers, assimilated white foreigners while fighting with other Black civilizations and fighting over control of religious temples and territories.

Kemet may have originally been a large confederation of many smaller Black Aboriginal tribes and states HOWEVER to call Kemet "Pan Kmtyw" is gross. It just shows the term "Pan Kmtyw" has contradictory definitions!

QuoteEkwensu007;225701 wrote: I would like to see John Henrik Clarke's definition where Kemet fell under pan Kmtywism.

The video listed gives a definition where every "black" group uniting is "pan Kmtywism" and lists Songhai which participated in human trafficking with aAmws.
I said Oyo and Dahomey (human trafficking kingdoms) were equally "Pan Kmtyw". Kemet also engaged in human trafficking.

My definition of pan Kmtywism:
The term Kmtyw has multiple definitions and originates from Romans who conquered a tribe and everyone in the land south got called Kmtyws. Regardless of skin color or heritage. Which is why the video says Black slash Kmtyw. Kmtyw can mean anything. Then to add the Greek prefix pan and latin suffix ism is triple mental colonization.

It's just a word which our miseducated Black academia, came up with in eureurasiaan colleges and eureurasiaan political conferences. The talented tenth idea where you go to a college and are the king of all negros.

Indigenous governments and confederations were not contacted or given updates.

100 years later Chinweizu is saying pan Kmtywism failed and black academia instead of looking in the mirror and saying they messed up, they point to indigenous confederations of the past and say they United because of "pan Kmtywism". Songhai traded "black" human beings based on dominating  Islamic trade with aAmws. Mali as well.
pretty sure Kemet traded prisoners of war.

My statement that Dahomey and Oyo was as pan Kmtyw as Kemet stands. Especially if Mali and Songhai fall into Pan Kmtywism based on Dr Kambons video presentation. The difference being Dahomey and Oyo traded with white eureurasiaan Christians and Mali and Songhai traded with white aAmw Muslims. According to the video pan Kmtywism is in part responsible for the slave trade. People never say pan Kmtywism is responsible for slavery they say "tribalism" choosing to attack indigenous confederations without going in depth and facing hard internal crisis and critical contradictions

The video proves my point I was right to question the definition of pan Kmtywism and contradictions.

If a person can't criticise and change  failed plans, doctrines and speeches they will always repeat failure and never be greater. That's why I asked for Dr. John Henrik Clarke's definition of pan Kmtywism.
I appreciate academia but I don't want to blindly follow or blame the masses. I want working plans and systems for confederation and definitions for "Black" people.

John Henrik Clarke was wrong here. Kemet was a product of "Maat" and "Sema". It's best described as a legal "tribal" system and association. Tribal as in based on group contributions, group economics and group rewards and punishments.

The Kalenjiin still have maat a confederation system and it also means fire, shared knowledge and life.
The Igbo have amako (confederation, cultivation together) and mboko (gathering)
The BaKongo have Mbongi (clasping, gathering)
The Akan languages it becomes feku (association, union, fraternity, confederation).

This is where Freemasonry gets it from. It's a degraded, malnutritioned indigenous system. from Freemasonry you get Marcus Garvey's UNIA-ACL, the nation of Islam or "tribe of Shabazz" which claims a light skinned origin in "Mecca", the Moorish science Temple of America which claims an eurasiatic nationality with Turks, Hindus and so on in their doctrine, Nuwaupians which were led by a sex predator.

All these can fall under pan Kmtywism too according to the videos definition.
Will you clarify your definition of Pan-Kmtywism for me?

What sources did you use to come to conclusion that Kemet was a product of Maat and Sema?

Can you elaborate on this comment "It's just a word which our miseducated Black academia, came up with in eureurasiaan colleges and eureurasiaan political conferences. I'd advise you to look up the 7 objectives of the 1900 Pan-Kmtyw Conference to see which one of them would rule out Kemet.
I don’t what you're talking about here.
But if you’re talking about the 7 point list that was addressed to 1 eureurasiaan Queen, those were the eureurasiaan miseducated “Kmtyw” I was talking about.

How many indigenous nations with indigenous education and governments were represented at this “Pan Kmtyw” conference. How many indigenous constitutions, education, military, government and economic systems were consulted?
The Ashanti government was not represented. The Mfantsi Amanbuhu Feku was not represented. Were Dahomey or Arochukwu or Zulu or X'hosa people and governments consulted?
I do not see where they defined "Pan Kmtyw" before using it? Its like the "Universal Negro Improvement Association" where Marcus Garvey set up his own Orthodox Christian church and army and said he was going to be President of Kmt. Without asking indigenous governments for support. And also called white Algerians "negros" and admired them. By "Pan" and "Universal" they mean everyone of them feels they should be in charge and know what's best for all "negros" without consulting them.

The Kmtyw Methodist Episcopal Church was consulted. The Freemasons were represented. People who were genetically close to or over 50% genetically eureurasiaan were consulted.
All if not the vast majority of the delegates were a mix of Dark skinned, DIASPORA eureurasiaan miseducated scholars and "near-white" folks (ie DuBois) who wanted a transfer of corrupt eureurasiaan governments, borders, religions, labels and realities to indigenous dark skinned people on the continent, and the right to use the eureurasiaan governments abroad in the West Indies. The disposition of the whites and the products of their white eureurasiaan educational system at that time was that indigenous people were "uncivilized."
It should have been called the eureurasiaanized Black and Damn Near White People Conference. They pretty much got what they wanted from the 7 point list addressed to the eureurasiaan queen.

If this were Kemet they would have all their names scrubbed from the records for missing the mark so heavily.
If this were Dahomey and Kemet they would have been killed for promoting "Christian communities" as in creating temples where tithes and taxes are paid to eureurasiaan Churches, governments and Vaticans. They were dark and mixed race colonials.
I will try to remember to post the picture later but here is a link. https://books.google.com/books?id=1srd91BOb4cC&pg=PA77&lpg=PA77&dq=%22Kmt,+the+Sphinx+of+History,+in+the+Light+of+Unsolved+Problems%22&source=bl&ots=pLoECmUlQt&sig=jBn6Arb7zRtsozK_lx3RSHF_ufA&hl=en&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwib-b_L7ezSAhUrxlQKHYv-B7AQ6AEIIjAB#v=onepage&q=%22Kmt%2C%20the%20Sphinx%20of%20History%2C%20in%20the%20Light%20of%20Unsolved%20Problems%22&f=false
This was clearly a Dark Skinned eureurasiaan, Christian colonial miseducation Programme. Our ancestors were brainwashed and led astray. There is no shame in that. The only shame and failure is if one refuses to correct errors and creates a tradition out of building on flawed foundations.

QuoteObadele Kambon;225698 wrote: The various other examples that you gave would also qualify as they bring together Kmtyw=Black people under one umbrella politically, socially, economically, militarily, etc.
The main difference is that Kemet means Black People and Land of Black People (depending on the determinative).
Also, you've lumped 3,000+ years into uninformed generalizations. The fighting and diplomacy with other Kmtyw=Black civilizations were both to bring in more Kmtyw=Black people and more land of Black people.

Can you provide a source where Kemet means "Black people." I've never seen that and would like to know the context.
I have heard "Land of Black People" which I dispute.

Here is one source citing Goelet on the name "KMT".
The earliest forms of the word km.t have the Alan Gardiner sign N23 as the determinative (see Gardiner, 1957:33). It is a sign of ?irrigated or cultivated land.? Ogden Goelet, in his seminal essay?Kemet and Other Egyptian Terms for Their Land? (
Goelet, 1999: 23-42) notes that km.t made its first appearance, as a name designation for Egypt, in Dynasty XI during the rule of the monarch Nebhepetre Menthuhotep (II). A matter of fact, both km.t and
tA-mry make their debut during this time period. Prior to the middle kingdom, Egypt was simply known as Xnw ?the residence,? literally, ?the interior.?
https://www.academia.edu/7061137/A_Lesson_in_Egyptian_Determinatives_The_Case_of_KMT

Kemet means Black Land as in Black Soil. Potent soil. Soil with Bound energy. Bound territory.
Ta Mery is said to mean "Beloved Land" but more accurately Ta Mery means Land (territory) of Irrigation, Water, Cultivation, ie Hospitable Land.
This is a side note but you see the same phenomenon in Asusu Igbo with "amara" charity, grace, favor, "mmiri" water, river (ie water road), irrigation, and "mmara" cultivation. You also see a deity called “Ota Mmiri” shield, tower, place of water, as well as place names that begin with Otu (team, unit, association, ie place, community), Nto (Ntaw, meaning foundation, place).

The Sema-Tawi means Uniting of Two Lands, Two Realms, Two Domains, Two Nations, Two Worlds. There were already smaller political groups formed along the Nile River and they were not formed based on skin color.
People who advocate these positions have yet to explain and reference why the term Kemet didn't show up until several dynasties into the Sema-Tawi. Why was the name simply "The interior, the residence" for several dynasties if Black skin was the basis of their unity? Was the name changed to Kemet based on Black skin later on?

The references Dr. Obadele Kambon provided are bad. They are of people being referred to as being from places and soil types, but zero references of people by colors. Eureurasian sand dweller is not a color.
#1 I feel you used "Nhsy" because it used to be translated as "Negro (Black)" by people who said NyKemet were not "Negro (Black)". That is a completely different argument than what's being discussed here.
We need a reference of "Black People" all going by the same skin color name. You say "Kemet" means "Black People" depending on the determinative, then a reference needs to be shown of nations of people outside Sema-Tawi being called "Kemet/Kem/kemetyw". Nhsy for example being called kemet/kem based solely on skin/genes.
#2 Reference to Sema (confederation) based not on controlling the River but on racial consciousness. Show where the ancestors say Sema Tawi occured because of their Black skin.
#3 Reference why the name Kemet was not adopted until several dynasties into Sema-Tawi.
#4 Reference this quote: "The fighting and diplomacy with other Kmtyw=Black civilizations were both to bring in more Kmtyw=Black people and more land of Black people."
By "Black civilizations" you mean lands filled with Black people.
So SEMA-TAWI was fighting with other Lands filled with Black people over what? Control of resources.
The last reference must show where the ancestors said their "fighting and diplomacy" was based on creating unity based on common skin color.
And by the time Sema-Tawi was called Kemet they were conquering non Black lands. Honestly, I don't think you believe what you're saying.

"From the Thirteenth to the Seventeenth Dynasties (Middle Kingdom) comes a period which is obscure. During this time Egypt was conquered by the Hyksos kings...There  had grown up an Egyptian mulatto race differentiated in color and other physical characteristics from the Central Kmtyws. So much so that the great triumph of Egypt was the conquest over these Kmtyws." - WEB DuBois

From the Middle Kingdom where the term "Kemet" becomes en vogue the great achievement is that the darker skinned Kmtyws are being conquered by a "mulatto race" and "Hyksos Kings", eurasiatic Sand Dwellers. The mulattos and Hyksos Kings were calling themselves "Black people" while going to war with the older darker skinned rulers and natives? This is crazy talk.
They called themselves "remetj" (citizens, men), an inflex of "sema" (allies, confederates).

What Kemet was doing was engaging in high levels of coonery (intermarriage) and they could not see they were being invaded and make a pact with people based on skin color. Mulattos were the conquering race by the time the name Kemet/Ta Mery (Black Land, Irrigated Cultivated Land) even became common.

Nubia-Kush maintains that Sema-Tawi was their little brother who branched out to form their own SEPARATE nation. This is similar to America branching off from Britain. There was endless fighting over controlling land, taxes, rivers, seaports, businesses, temples/religion where tributes were collected.

To say that race mixing Egypt had some superior concept of Black Race Unity is disgusting. They were the ones who opened the invasion of the continent by marrying non Black princesses and royalty and immigrants and invaders. This was covered by Chancellor Williams Destruction of Black Civilization. I dont know how people are misreading this. They were mulattos in 1000 years, even Black people in north and south America aren't on that pace and they've been there for half as long.
You might as well say these people were superior in race consciousness and were trying to unite all Black people over the continent, but the rest of the continent was stubborn and mentally inferior to unite. But your theory falls apart with references, with lack of unified names, and the chronology of the term Kemet itself which came about in a mulatto age.

#5 If they were conscious of protecting Black skin, then they had to have had a caste system. Reference their exact color caste (purity) system. Just as in the Americas you have Black, mulatto, griffe, octoroon, mestiza, sambo. If "the main difference" of Sema Tawi was they had such a superior concept of Blackness to the rest of the continent (they did not) reference their caste (color purity) system in detail. Did they have the same "one drop, one parent rule" that white supremacists in America created? As it stands they called everyone who assimilated and paid tribute "remetj" not "Black people" regardless of skin tone or heritage.

DuBois (organizer of Pan Kmtyw Congresses) himself said Egypt's major triumph was mulattos and Hyksos kings over "the Kmtyws." Chancellor Williams said the same 50 years.

Here is a link to what the people of Sema-Tawi really called themselves. "REMETJ"

"The field of meaning of "remetch" as a category of moral consideration in ancient and modern Maatian ethics is inclusive and extensive. It includes persons as they are in relationship — father, mother, siblings, friend, neighbor, stranger. It expands to include the community, ie the people of the town, the city, the district, the country" - Karenga, Maat, The Moral Ideal in Ancient Egypt: A Study in Classical Kmtyw Ethics

Various Sources:
Coptic - rome, romi, omi (man, husband).
Bantu-Mbochi: olomi (husband, spouse, male).
Yoruba/Igbo: omo, umu, rumu (children - consanguines, natives, citizens, relatives, descendants - used in place names)
Igbo: erima (organic, social system of the Igbo that has no Western equivalent; solidarity; cohesion)
Mbuti: elima/molimo (bonding ceremonies for males and females to become initiated - earn degrees - as men/women; bonding)
Swahili: mwalimu (teacher, initiator, ie one who sticks to customs)
Igbo: amadi (community land masters, nobles, ie one who has clout to make and enforce customs on the land)
Igbo: umudi (children of same husband),

I'll wait for those references I requested, #1-5.

Quote from: Dukuzumurenyi;225901Will you clarify your definition of Pan-Kmtywism for me? Can you elaborate on this comment "It's just a word which our miseducated Black academia, came up with in eureurasiaan colleges and eureurasiaan political conferences. The talented tenth idea where you go to a college and are the king of all negros." Specifically the sources where I can see that this is the origin of the word.

"
THE ORIGIN OF THE TERM PAN-Kmtyw
Pan-Kmtyw was coined, it is claimed, by the Trinidadian lawyer Henry Sylvester Williams in an 1899 letter concerning the Pan-Kmtyw Conference of 1900. It appears, however, that Du Bois had a much greater claim to the term. It is plausibly derived from the Pan-Slav, Pan-German, and Pan-American movements, of which the most influential for residents of the Western Hemisphere would logically be the Pan-American movement.
Du Bois is the only major participant to link explicitly in print all four of these pan-movements.

Pan-Kmtyw congresses is the name given to seven international meetings planned by W. E. B. Du Bois between 1919 and 1929, of which four actually materialized, and another meeting in 1945 in which he participated only peripherally in planning and organizing, but over which he presided."

Keep in mind DuBois rival, Marcus Garvey crowned himself President of Kmt through his government, the head of the "Universal Negro Improvement Association and Kmtyw Community Leagues" whose goal was to "assist in civilizing the backwards tribes of Kmt" and establish a spiritual/Christian confraternity. He even started his own Black Christianity church, "Knights of the Nile", Military. Source Marcus Garvey Papers.

Garvey and DuBois were both Masons, Christians and had HNIC syndrome on steroids.
They ignored indigenous religious-political governments and their systems, language systems, clothing systems. They were talking about eureurasia as a blueprint, not Kemet and Nile Valley pre mulatto-ization.

Here is pictures of the prevailing attitude of the time - the UNIA's Objects signed off by Marcus Garvey himself. Use Christianity to quote unquote "assist (eureurasiaans) in civilizing the backwards tribes of Kmt." eureurasiaans and Christians civilized, Kmtyws uncivilized - Marcus Garvey.
