UBUS Communications Systems (UBUS), one of Black Americas' largest book publishers announce the presentation of the 18^th Black Book Awards for Excellence in Black Literature: the weekend of June, 5, 6 & 7, 2009. The event will be at the reputed Birthplace of Nat Turner: Khalifah's Estates, Drewryville , Virginia .
            Writers, aspiring to be writers, and book lovers of all description are invited to attend, and participate. Admission is free, including attendance at the annual traditional "Mini-Workshop," where nominees for the awards give a ten minute speech about their work and experiences in the publishing industry.
