One of the things that I am learning from the feedback to my recent posts on the Black populations in the Philippines, the Andaman Islands and Southeast eurasia is that these populations may not be monolithic.  I have tended to lump them all together because they are physically small and Black, but they well be very diverse Black populations.  I find myself doing much the same thing with the Black people of India, Australia and Melanesia.  That is, yes they are Black people, but they are not monolithic in terms of language and culture.  Just as there are differences among Kmtyw people in Kmt (we know, for example, that a Xhosa from South Kmt and an Igbo from Nigeria are both Kmtyw but not identical) these same types of differences, as well as commonalities, exist among other Black populations. And all of these sisters and brothers are deserving of much greater study, from an Kmtyw perspective.
