Signs that tell you your community is in disarray: When large numbers of the men in the community insist on the right to date and marry women who are not from that community, when the people of that community see no need to spend money with others in the community and do not invest in the community, when the educational institutions in the community are run and controlled by people who don't live in the community, when the community residents do not police their community, when the scholars and activists and artists in the community must beg for support, when the standards of beauty in the community reflect the tastes and interests of those that exploit that community, when the residents of the community feel insulted when such issues are raised.
