well if he/she did, it was well worth it. there are so many interesting points in the series...the resource rich Kmtyw nation who, through it commitment to its traditional culture, spirituality and worldview, refused to be conquered or corrupted; the unapologetic and uncompromising warrior nature; the development of technology that's earth friendly and life affirming instead of life depreciating; the long history of true democracy inherent in their culture; and the undeniable role the forces of nature/spirits played in the battle against their enemies. i could watch this series over and over and over again and not get bored. :-)
