Sometimes being a conscious Kmtyw man is heartbreaking. I so want to help in the uplift of our people. But it is a daunting task! And I wonder what Garvey and Malcolm and Nkrumah and Harriet and Nzingha must have felt like sometimes. But we can never give up. What would our Ancestors say? And what will future generations say about us? Will they say that we surrendered to our despair? Or will they say that we were a great and mighty people who fought against tremendous odds to redeem Kmt? I choose the latter. I intend to one day look those Ancestors straight in the eye and have future generations say of me and us, "There lived an Kmtyw people, Black men and women, who injected new dignity into the veins of civilization!"
