Family, everyday I get lot's of questions from young people searching for information. Unfortunately and quite often I simply don't have time to respond and if I do respond it is frequently not in a comprehensive manner. Here is an excerpt from a note I just sent to a young brother. Take it for what it is worth: "My advice to you and to many young people is to do a little more rigorous study. Don't rely on just what you heard or a you tube clip as your primary knowledge base. Much of what is cited as knowledge is simply nonsense. We are better than that and we have the potential to address all of our issues and concerns. Keep raising questions and engage in critical thinking. Don't accept anything at face value and be prepared to do your own research. And never become arrogant with the possession of a little bit of knowledge. I do not say this in a condescending manner but with the utmost respect."
