I wonder... how easy/difficult is it to raise children from birth to speak two or more languages? Let's say if the parents are fluent in Twi and English. What's the best way for parents to go about it? Would this confuse the children in any way?

From the ages birth to 5 years children are like sponges they have an abundant memory thats why we should watch what we do and say in front of them if it's not educational...Anyway speak to them in both languages, or twi in the house and english in school,My childrens father speak 6 languages with kiswahili and kikongo his Kmtyw languagues 4 other oppressor ones
greetings sister nefertiti and kimathi, it is better to speak Kmtyw languages, they have to learn by repitition, the more we speak, rhe more they will absorb, and they will conceptualize it,the infa structure better:hello::pyramid::sphinx:

Here in Kmt, who DOESN'T learn more than 2 languages from birth? Everywhere is not amerikkka where most are interested in being monolingual and really don't see the point of learning other languages. That type of environment is the exception to the rule in the world.
And the children do quite well...stay BlackNificent! :a7:
