Hotep Family,
We would like to create a support group of people willing to give support to Dr. Ben and his wife Gertrude. Dr. Ben is in a nursing home in the Bronx and his wife is in a nursing home in Manhattan. Both need general support services (Kmtyw Love), however, because they are in nursing homes, we do not want to disturb the business operations of the nursing homes. Often times, when we put out a request - it takes an emergency tone and there is a lot of energy in the beginning but none when you really need it. I have visited Dr. Ben several times and have a sense of what his basic needs are beyond the care of the nursing home.
Dr. Leonard Jeffries and Sister Kefa Nepthys of the First World should be the primary community contact with Dr. Ben and his Family. I would like the community to assist them by first asking you - if you can volunteer to email me your names, addresses, phone numbers and availability. If you are a medical professional please let me know.
Dr. Ben has not spoken to his wife in about three weeks. At some point, we need to coordinate a visit between the Nursing Homes with cell phones so they can talk.
I will put together a list and discuss it with Dr. Jeffries. Once we have a list, we can select what type of support we can give Dr. Ben and his wife, Sister. Gertrude.
It is our chance as a community to help the man, most singly important for bringing us the Values and Virtues of Nile Valley Civilization and bringing us MAAT. Now we have a chance in our life times to be the Eloquent Peasants.
Special respect should go out to Sister Agnes Johnson and her Daughter for responding.
My name is Bro. Reggie Mabry, rapmarketing@hotmail.com (mailto:rapmarketing@hotmail.com)

Happy Imani Day and may we find community from this day and onward. May we remember our elders who opened our mind's eye to the truths that were withheld.

greetings baba Kanbom, nattyreb, i have curious question, ( it is not direct at you baba kanbom) for u have utmost respect and reverance, my question is,
with so many organizations, NCOBRA,NEW BLACK PANTHER PARTY,ZULU NATION,NUWABIANS,UNIA,what are they collectively doing for elders such as
DR YOSEF BEN JOCHANAN, an elder like him who dedicated his life for the upliftment of Kmt and Kmtyw communities and why should he be in a nursing home, thats so sad, that an elder of such stature has to spend his life or the rest of his life like this just like chancellor willians,it really makes me wonder, the direction we are going, somebody in the conscious Kmtyw community should be able to open their doors for him,he should not be left at the mercy of nurses and nurses aids, doctors, be their guinea pigs:skeleton:
i received this from Bro. Kamau Mposi yesterday:

Family,
Most of us are familiar with the name Dr. Yosef
Ben-Jochannan, or affectionately, "Dr. Ben." For
those who aren't, he is one of the world's leading
scholars in Egyptology and considered one of the
leaders of the Pan Kmtyw movement. Today Dr. Ben is
living in an assisted-living facility in the Bronx
with very little spiritual or family support.
Runoko Rashadi, also a scholar of ancient Kmtyw
history, recently posted an email asking the Black
community to support this "GRAND ELDER."
Brothers and Sisters who have visited Dr. Ben recently
asked him what the community could do to show their
love and support. Dr. Ben indicated that he is in need
of pants (32X31), t-shirts, socks, books and a belt.
He also would like to have visitors (if you are in New
York). Visiting hours are between 1-9pm. You can
send clothing and book donations or visit at the
following address.
