I would humbly offer this....be assured that your needs will be met. You seem like a survivor already. Beyond that your wants will have to be a personal thing that you will have to identify and determine which are most important when going through this process and eventual relocation. Good thing is you will have a support group there to help you through it all.

Sis Wen I was there I gave away clothes. They seem.to really like all the stuff we have as I wanted all the clothes they had. :-) I felt guilty for giving them such trash but they love american anything.smh

We are wishing we hadn't gotten rid of our best quality stuff like furniture and appliances even though they are the wrong voltage. Plan on having to provide for being off the grid. High quality electrical items are more expensive here in Tanzania if you can find it. Yes you can find voltage converters easily for low cost.
